Mixbook + Lake Erie Design Co.

Back in May I met the amazing people at Mixbook in New York. I started working with them on Christmas and holiday card designs in mid summer. I had an absolute blast designing cards with them! I’ve done a lot of custom design cards and invitations, mostly for wedding, and anyone who has ever done this knows how wearing it can get. I had so burnt out on custom, I only took on one wedding suite this year (for my dear friends who I knew would be amazing and grateful clients). 

I’ve got to be honest though, I LOVE designing wedding invitations and photo cards. When the opportunity arose to work with Mixbook, I dove right in. They loved my ideas and ended up picking most of the designs I pitched! It was such a refreshing change- getting to design semi-custom, but working with other designers and creative directors instead of the end client.
